AWS Service Delivery offerings
AWS Cloud Formation simplifies and streamlines the process of provisioning and managing your AWS infrastructure. By using templates to define and deploy resources, you can achieve consistent and scalable infrastructure deployments while minimizing manual effort and ensuring best practices.
CitiusTech helps our healthcare and LiveScience customers to achieve infrastructure as code, making it easier to version, test, and manage infrastructure changes over time, at scale. Leveraging the Cloud Formation services, it facilitates the automation of infrastructure deployment, making it faster and more reliable.
AWS Control Tower is a fully managed service provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) that simplifies the setup and governance of a secure and compliant multi-account AWS environment. It offers a centralized control plane, enabling organizations to establish well-architected best practices and automate the management of multiple AWS accounts.
CitiusTech helps our healthcare and LiveScience customers leverage AWS Control Tower services and best practices to accelerate the business and cloud adoption while maintaining control, security, and governance over their AWS environment.
AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) is a managed Kubernetes service provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS). Kubernetes is an open-source container orchestration platform that automates the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
CitiusTech helps our healthcare and Lifescience customers seeking a managed Kubernetes solution that abstracts the complexities of cluster management while harnessing the flexibility and scalability of containerized applications.
AWS Lambda is a serverless computing service that allows developers to run code without provisioning or managing servers. It helps execute code in response to events, such as changes to data in Amazon S3 buckets, updates to a DynamoDB table, or HTTP requests via Amazon API Gateway.
CitiusTech helps our healthcare and Lifescience customers building event-driven, microservices-oriented, and serverless architectures. It enables developers to focus on writing code and building applications without worrying about infrastructure provisioning, scaling, or maintenance.

Recent Success Story
Member Portal Modernization Using AWS
A leading payer services organization was looking to improve its member portal experience and reduce the time required for system deployments. Further, the Liferay platform that was implemented for its member portal had reached the end of life in support and upgrading to the new version was proving too costly. Therefore, it was decided to modernize the member portal by re-architecting it into a microservice architecture on AWS cloud.
The front-end and middle tier services of the modernized application were hosted on AWS ECS with EC2 clusters and some of the data sources (claims submissions, message center, etc.) were moved to AWS Dynamo DB, RDS (MySQL). Application logs were captured via AWS CloudWatch and application audit logs were stored in AWS S3.
On modernizing the member portal deployment, new micro-services were developed on AWS cloud. Backend integration services were migrated to AWS platform using the Lift-and-shift approach to containerize deployments in EKS. Comprehensive IaC pipelines were used for both AWS Infra and charts for Kubernetes services. In the next phase of migration, the team is working on replacing legacy Java webservices with new use case centric microservices which connects the portal application with the true system of record directly{Facets, CDP} and continuous improvements in terms of the including the secops inside the CI/CD.
IaC based infra migration factory on AWS
A leading healthcare data management organization was looking to control high infrastructure and licensing costs, reduce manual intervention in backup management while ensuring high availability as their business. They decided to migrate their existing on-premise infrastructure and 3rd party licensed database serving ~40 applications to AWS. IMO partnered with CitiusTech to re-platform the database to AWS Aurora PostgreSQL by leveraging the AWS Data Migration Service (DMS). Bi-directional replication of data between the 3rd party licensed database and the new AWS Aurora PostgreSQL database was carried out using Golden gate.
IaC was used for infrastructure automation to create environments, especially for software development, testing, and deployment. IaC has reduced errors, improved efficiency, and enabled easy duplication of environments. Modularization is done for approved AWS resources and the entire cloud account creation is done in an automated fashion. A separate zero downtime strategy was used with blue green and canary based deployment strategy. The database migration was completed leveraging the Re-platform cloud migration strategy. The on-premise 3rd party licensed database was migrated from 3rd party cloud to Aurora PostgreSQL 11 on AWS Cloud
